HR

I have heard of several employees having a negative experience with HR or processing in-is this true?

last year the only problem i had with them (which wasnt even a problem) was when i went to process in i had light pink nail polish on (which it say is ok in the grooming guidelines) and they made me take it off. i got to cp early to process in and there was barely a line.

honestly, i never had one problem with HR. the boy that processed me in was really nice, and would joke around with me while i was filling in the millions of papers for processing in. and then when i got promoted the lady that gave me my blue tags was also really nice.

I haven't had that much of a problem. The longest wait I had was after I filled out my paperwork and was waiting for someone to tell us where to go next.
This year it's supposed to be easier because we do all of the paperwork before we go up there

I've never had a problem with HR either. I live 2 hours away and I believe the HR office opens at 8, so I drove to Sandusky, got a bite to eat, and was one of the first people in line to process in. I heard the line can get pretty long, but I don't know. The process at HR takes the longest, then you have 4 or 5 other stops you have to make before you go to housing and move your stuff into your room. It's not bad, just as long as you get there before 8am and stand by the door before they open.

the only problem you may run into is long lines. not HR's fault. a lot of people process in on certain "popular" days, get there early, or have some patience. paperwork is what takes a lot of time, but it looks like they're making some changes.

they will make sure you follow grooming standards though...tattoos...piercings...all of that before processing in. but it's not that big of a deal!

patience is a virtue :) honestly if you process in on a busy day... expect for everything to take all day..by time you get settled in your dorm, you'll be ready for bed to wake up bright and early and go to training :)
