I thought it was pretty lame, but we didn't get to chose our seats. Glad others like it though, to make lines shorter for my favorites.
My 9 year old liked it. He thought it was freaky that it looked like we were going to go off of the end of the track. I think it is a deceptive ride. It looks boring just watching it. Riding it disorients your brain a bit as you are doing two types of motion at the same. Kind of like swinging by the supports on Max Air. Your brain sees them coming and thinks you are going to hit them.

I don't know what it is about this statement/line of thinking that rubs me the wrong way, but I really don't like it. I really can't explain it, but it's like nails on a chalkboard when I hear someone say this.
Kinda sounds like you're looking down upon others' tastes for differing from yours.. if that makes sense.
And I don't see how that way of thinking is really even true. Somehow I have a feeling that the line for Pipe Scream isn't going to do much to shorten the line for TTD, MF, GK, or Maverick.
Oh I know. It's always funny to hear "oh, I hope the park builds a large coaster so the line will go down for my favorite one over there". I think the lines will be the same as they've always been no matter what else comes along. A busy day is a busy day, and a slow day is a slow day, etc.
In fact, a great new attraction might make a park and consequently all the rides busier overall.
Are the lights on Pipe Scream new? You can see them on the webcam. They change from red to red white and blue I think.
Yes. They're color-changing LED strips, said to have been done by the same company as Giant Wheel. They were installed last Friday after park close.
My partner and I were there this past Sunday and were looking forward to riding it. Once we walked up and saw how fast it was spinning we basically both shouted "NOPE" at the same time and cracked up.
