I'm not sure if I should've posted this in the new for 2014 or not so I just went here.
How was your ride on Pipe Scream to those of you who rode it? I wouldn't suspect it to be a rough ride but am I wrong? Many people, like myself, get sick on spinning rides so how much would I have to worry about that? My question is simple: How was your ride?
I really liked it. The ride cycle is certainly a good length as you get 4? full length runs once you are up to speed. You also get just a small amount of alot of different forces thoughout the ride to keep it interesting. As of right now it is super smooth. All around it is a fun little ride. I can not comment on the nausea factor either though.
R.I.P. Mr. Scott
Just had my first go on it this weekend. 3 adults and 1 child loved it. I wouldn't wait too long for it, but it was open for ERT on Saturday morning with no wait. Rode it twice, once on each side, and pretty much agree with all the previous comments. Very smooth and a pretty fun ride.

I liked it. I'm usually with you on the nausea on spinning rides, but I had no issues whatsoever. It went a little faster than what I was expecting which was a good thing. Overall, I'd say a good addition.
It's a fine line with spinning rides for the individuals. Pipe Scream has a pretty wide radius and slowish rotation, so more people can handle it. Same with the Eagles, the arc is wide enough that it is less nausea-inducing. But then there are things like the Tilt-a-Whirl, where one day I was feeling great, so went on it with our youngest. I would have been fine with one cycle, but the ride op said "let's keep going" cause there was nobody in line. Holy crap, I wasn't 100% again for a couple hours after that.
I think it's an excellent family ride! Id ride it every time i visit Cedar Point. The length of the ride caught me off guard. I did not expect it to be that long. Riding it at night is pretty neat also. Hanging over the beautifully lit Gemini Midway is a bit of a treat. Spinning rides do not bother me, but for the people it does bother, i caution you to be careful with this ride.
