Rides

MForce

I loved my crew, i loved the ride and that is what made me come back for the next several years, trying to get that feeling back.

2008 zone one sweep, ride - kiddy kingdom

wished i could do bigger rides but... blah...

I WANNA COME BACK!!!!!!

I think that most people's first season is their best season. Not knowing what to expect, lots of surprises, new experiences... Therefore, my favorite season was 2006 - Rides -Wicked Twister. What an awesome summer. My crew, the ride, work, everything was incredible. Not that my subsequent seasons weren't fun - it's just that you never get the same experience as your first season.

'10 - TL Magnum XL-200
'09 - ATL Top Thrill Dragster
'08 - Magnum / Corkscrew crews
'07 - maXair / Magnum crews
'06 - Wicked Twister / Skyride / Millennium Force crews

My favorite year was last year, first year in leadership, loved the crew, knew the ride, broke all the previous years numbers and just had a blast.

My favorite was 2006 at RipCord, 2007 was okay, and 2008 made a big run towards 2006 but not enough to top it off.

2008. I lived in Ann Arbor and only worked weekends. I didn't get burned out on working and I got all the advantages of being an employee. By advantages I mean advantage and thats getting into parks for free.

Rides/Meanstreak/lil bit of Wicked Twister

There were too many great memories, but ONE memory is diving through our dorm window at commons to avoid the long line through the gate b/c of all the ride prides. Yeah it was a little risky, but I had a UTI (urinary tract infection) and was about to pee my pants!

"Mean Streak crew 2004"

But did you make it is the question? lol

I did make it, but if I had held it for even a minute longer, I wouldn't have! Looking back on it I think it was hilarious!

I only worked one season - 1978 - for the Games dept as a Weight Guesser at the Monster Scale (before the ride was moved).

The best part was that I was never bored. I put in a good bit of overtime by working an open & close split shift most days, plus the six days per week schedule. During down times, I enjoyed relaxing and playing games at the rec center, hanging out with friends, or attending the additional activities that the park offered. I got along great with just about everyone - the rest of the crew (especially the agent in charge), the ride hostesses at the nearby rides, and my roommate. Throw in the fact that I met a great girl, and it all added up to be a truly memorable summer.

On my day off, I loved waking up to the sounds of the park - especially the rumble of the coaster and the screams of the riders.

I wanted to work there the following year, but I couldn't pass up a summer job offer that was more aligned with my field of study. When I visited the park that year, a co-worker thanked me for not coming back, since it opened up an agent position for him at one of the scales.

My first year, 2006!

Contracted: mine ride

moved to Train and I forget why.

So much drama that year but nothing serious it was just the stores.

Put-in-bay lol was amazing. Steve,Jason, me, sarah, Meaghan, Dave... Meaghan and I spent over 300.00 there and we silly stringed the park and I forget who hit a golf cart with their gold cart.

I was a ride whore too. I worked Snake, Antiques, Cads, scrambler, cedar downs, matterhorn, meanstreak, traffic, sweeps... oh the memories. Working Traffic and Sweeps was fun but not as fun as rides.

my only regret was my clique of friends were the only one's i hung out with. So I didn't get to know many people and we never went on cp trips and very few ride nights. I still have yet to go to a Big Bash.

I plan on doing all of that if I work there this year!

Oh yeah, the TL of the train, Kelly took us white water rafting in indiana which was fun!

CP&LE Railroad will always be my favorite ride!
2006: CP&LE Railroad Crew, Zone 4 ride whore
2007: ATL CP&LE Railroad, Meanstreak
2008: Season Pass Holder
2009: Skyhawk Crew

2007 was great when I didn't have to babysit whiners as much. I shouldn't say that, though, cause most of the crew was awesome in 2008. 2007 was pretty awesome, though.
