How long until I get a call.?!?!

I applied online to CP 5 days ago. How soon should I expect a call, or do you think they are not hiring me..?

Applications just went up. I don't think they have even hired/called anyone yet. It's only January 6th. They won't start calling or hiring for another couple of weeks i'm guessing.

They don't even have access to the applications yet. Calls should start going out around the end of January.

I got my call last year at the beginning of February. The nice thing about Cedar Point is you can tell if your application has been reviewed or not.

For rides I would wait till around the 21st (a Monday). The first calls started around the 20th last year

You're a little too anxious. I understand though I was too my first year. But honestly theres no need to worry until March is what I say. (: If you still haven't got a call by the time they start shipping people out, then you should be worried.

lol. thanks bud. i understand there hiring proccess now but it was a little confused by it.. i think i signed up for the wrong stuff. do you think they will care if i change them when they call.. lol

i signed up for hotel and some gardening ish, and thats because my brother in law thought that would be good, but i definately dont want the gardening one, the hotel one would be alright but i kinda wanna be somewhere in park, preferably ride op..

if you do gardening, be prepared for some dang early mornings!

So do first year hires get called later? If so, about what time do those go out?

It'll be a mixture, there really isn't a rhyme or reason behind who gets called first. Generally, supervision and leadership comes first, but not always.
