how long does it take after you put in an application online for a job to get a phone call an what are the chances that you get hired ?

i really want a job at cedar point this summer. an i put in my application a week an a half ago an i was just wondering how long you usually wait for a phone call or something. also will calling increase my chances of gettting hired?

I wouldnt call just yet, u just have to be patient. Alot of the departments are in the process of reviewing the apps and making calls, it might take a few weeks or u can get the call tomorrow. you just never know

ok well heres another question im only seventeen as of now. but my 18th birthday is april fourth. an the online app wouldnt let me check off yes for employee housing because im still under 18. so i plan on telling them if they call me for the job that i want empoyee houseing. but will the fact that i put that im 17 on my app lower my chances of getting hired ?

no it wont, you will be 18 before you process in..so like you said, just tell them that when they call u, you'll be fine

they still have to hire the returning employees. last year i applied mid-march and still got the job...it took about 3 weeks to get an interview and I was hired on the spot
