While cedar point is a much larger business so this may not apply, I was always told wait at least a week and if nothing is heard then call/get in touch with the business. The squeaky wheel gets the grease as they say so if you show interest in them perhaps that will help you. In regards to CP in particular I personally would give them a call but be patient as well as their employee base is MUCH larger than just your local job. I applied end of January and just had my interview on valentine's day (wife wasn't thrilled about that I don't think heh). Now I'm trying to be patient but even me, 31 years old, still anxious about possibly getting a job there.
I promise you that, at least, in ride ops, the squeaky does not get the grease... The greasy wheel slows the rest of the train down and causes problems.
