How late can you check into Breakers?

Hi,

I'll be heading to the Point in May (I'm from Australia) and from my research, I think I'll be staying at Hotel Breakers.

My only query is, I'm actually flying from NYC to Clevelend, and then driving to CP. My flight is quite late in the evening (arrives in Cleveland at 10pm.) By the time I drive to Cedar Point, will I be able to check in that late (ie, 11pm or thereabouts) to Hotel Breakers?? Or do they shut the desk before this.....

The desk is staffed 24 hours a day, so I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to check in whenever you get there. I hope you enjoy your trip!

I have checked in to Castaway Bay on a Halloweekends at 1:30 in the morning, and like Ralph Wiggum said the place is staffed 24 hours a day. I've never not seen someone working the desk at any hotel property owned by CP.

Hotel Breakers is definitely a nice hotel and you will avoid many crowds by going in May.

We have checked in to our room hours before check-in also at that too.

I know some hotels if you don't check in by a certain time, they have they'll rent your room to someone else. I'm not sure if Cedar Point does this or not though.

I don't think that is the case at Breakers though. Andrew, you will have no problem checking in. They even have a Bellmen 24/7. So you wont even need to carry your bags:)

^^ - However, most hotels will accommodate you if you know ahead of time that you will not be in until late at night. So as long as you tell them that you won't be arriving until 1am, they won't sell your room for that night.

Thanks for the replies!! You've put my mind at ease.

You've got no idea how tough it is to book a flight from Australia, then try and book a connecting flight from NYC to Cleveland, without any idea what time you can check into a hotel! Argh! It's so hard because coming all this way you've got to sort flights, then accommodation, then dates, then check-ins. One can't go before the other!

Thanks for the replies... so excited about this visit I can't wait. My g'friend promised if I proposed and we got married, that I could go to CP one day ($ expensive!) I've held up my end of the bargain.... payback time now!!!
