How far do you think people will come to ride #16

My guess--

A Few from Europe and Japan but thats it.

every inch of the universe.

MILLENNIUM MANIAC 4EVER!!!

I have some friends on Rigel IV who are coming here for this...they left last September - hopefully they'll make it here by August...

Thousands of miles
I'll be driving the 565 miles from Long Island in May
I'm sure everywhere. I'm going with Coastercraze on this one with mostly Europe and Japan though. I'm sure some Canadians will be sitting on their balcony though and look out and see across Lake Erie and go, "We'd better see what's going on, eh?"
Um, anywhere in the world...

They have come for MF, they came for X, they will come for #16.

Wherever coaster fans are. They will come. There will always be somone, some one person who comes from very far away.

This is my roller coaster life story. You don't have to read it if you don't want to.

I live way over in North Dakota. I went to the point when I was ~6 years old with my grandma. I then went to Valley Fair (Minnesota) in 2000 and rode my first coaster Excaliber (structure like Gemini's) and got up the courage to ride Wild Thing (hah, 200 ft tall) and the Power Tower (3 towers). Then my family took a road trip to it in 2001 (road trips are REALLY fun). Once there, I gained up my courage to ride MF on my second (and last day) there at around 5 o'clock and absolutely loved it. I then flew back in 2002 and stayed with relatives for a week. My second cousin and I were second in line at 8:30 (or whatever time Breakers guests can get in) for WT the last day we were there. That ride is awesome (gotta love the launches and the backwards parts) but the wait was too long for us. I am now planning my return to Cedar Point in June of 2003 to ride #16 (I hope everyone scoffs at the length so the lines will be shorter).

So, in short, new coasters do give many people reasons to return to Cedar Point.

Getting serious.... I think that people (myself included) keep coming back because of all of the great coasters that it has already, especially Millennium Force.
C U IN 2002
Wait, that doesn't work anymore.
I hope I don't pee (on #16) in 2003. Oh and Mr. Scott, you shure do like to make alot of references to soiling yourself. Have you thought about adultdiapers.org? LOL (laugh out loud). j/k (just kidding) of course.

and i would rather be on a ride than on my desk in school *cries* sledding is the only thing that is close
Clearly, people will be traveling great distances. I live in Boston and visit the point regularly. I suspect every corner of the world will be covered.

Do we know who lives closest to the point.

Best greetings from Berlin Germany

We are flying over from England to ride in may! (Hope its open in time!)
I already have 5 trips planned for this season. Driving from the Buffalo, NY area, about 250 miles. I'm hoping to get my friend from Mississippi to fly up for a visit and join my daughter and I at the Point in June or July.
I can picture it now. Last offseason Dick Kinzel is walking by Troika, Chaos, and the old Dodgem building. Suddenly he hears a voice, "If you build it, they will come."

"Far Out."

Cute anecdote--but somebody didn't look at the CP website closely...
I will be driving from Tampa, Florida In August. I will be spending two days at the park. I CANT WAIT!!!

Well, now that I've heard the specs and got to read the press release, I think I am going to bite the bullet and make the 7½ minute drive from my place in southeast Sandusky!!
