how early do employees start in the spring?

does anyone know when the point has seasonal employees start working in the spring. i was just wondering.

The first bunch arrives sometime in April, but most of them show up around May 1.

I think the earliest you can start is April 1st, but like Ben said, most employees start a week before the park opens.

It depends on your position. Some are allowed to start before April 1st but it is a very select few.

I started March 22nd when I worked at Cedar Point Summer of 2003

I started on May 15 this year. Most college people were there before June, and then came high-school kids for the first 3 weeks of June. Internationals came in droves after that, and their arrivals approached the end of July.

My last year at the park, 1983, I was the #2 seasonal employee to start that year. I started at 10:00 Am on April 1st. The #1 seasonal that year started at 9:00 AM on April 1st.

I know of one seasonal who has started in January the past two years. There were a few others too but I didn't know them personally.

I have started as early as January. When I was in Park Op, I started in early March.

i'm hoping to start around tax day april 15. i know that it is mostly just set up and other work but it would be nice to be able to get a 6 month lease on an apartment and be able to work the whole time.
