How do I change my transfer in date?

I just got my employment info on my account... but I also just found out that my graduation date was pushed back a week... and this sets my graduation date after my transfer in date. I am currently scheduled to transfer in on May 24. Can I change my transfer in date? And if so, how and will they have a problem with it?

Contact whoever is the person that hired you and tell them that you need to change the date. They should be able to handle it for you

And they should be understanding to my needs?

As long as you have written documentation then they shouldnt have a problem with it.

What do you mean by written documentation? Like have my counsoler write a letter to them stating that I wont be done with school until after the first week of June?

Yeah, basically. If they have a problem with it then ask them what you need to bring them. They are pretty nice people. I think that they will understand!

It should not be a problem, really. This is a circumstance out of your control. Trust me, they won't cancel you or anything, just be sure to do it as soon as possible :)

This is unrelated Chris, but why do you feel like you need to make an excuse for your job in your signature? I worked in the same department and there is nothing wrong with it. NONE of the jobs at Cedar Point are glamorous. Save for a few exceptions, everyone gets sweaty, gets hot, has to be on their feet and work hard, and do some either gross or difficult tasks, and in an unattractive uniform to boot. Every job is just as important and respectable as the last.

I think Night Trash would rock - you don't have to deal with any guests! I would assume for the most part it's pretty peaceful, and a lot cooler too. Good luck this summer.

Yeah, that is also a great benefit of working night shift - being able to have peace and quiet during the day. Especially if you are in a dorm. If I worked opening I had to be up by 6 or 7am, and I would be in bed at 11 pm and my roommates would come in and be sitting around with the light on, talking to their friends. It's too bad it is hard to get good rest at CP.

Mt Huff should get back to you, just give him a little time because everyone up there is really busy. But do make sure you hear back from him - don't just assume he got your message. Make sure you get that revised contract in the mail.

OH... well congrats! but why whould you get engaged? hmm... i have always wondered why people do all of that... since i have been engaged 6 times... and im only 18...figure that one out... oh well :) I was thinkin of stayin in commons apartments... do you think that is a good idea? i figured with it being segragated by apt. i will be able to meet some girls... and all of the partying will happen while i am at work. But i am not sure yet... I know that i am not staying in cedars b/c with workin the night shift and all of the day noise from the park it wouldnt work too well! I have alot of threads and people keep sayin that there are alot of chances to meet girls and stuff is that true? You have been engaged six times yet are shy around girls? You can't be TOO shy, ha ha. Oh buddy, you are going to meet more girls at Cedar Point then you can shake a stick at. As long as your roommates are...understanding...having a sex life at the Point isn't really as tricky as it may seem.

I would go with the apartments, you would have more privacy that way. Since the dorms are only that single room, if everyone has friends over and stuff there is no way to be alone. At least in the apartments socializing can go on in the livingroom and if someone wants to be alone they can go into their bedroom.

Ha ha BTW the first time I got engaged was my first year at Cedar Point...I was only 18 so it was kind of silly...certainly not my idea. This time around I'm getting engaged because I love me some diamonds.

Ok... I will be watching for my first contract in the mail... it should be here soom b/c it has been awhile since I was hired. Im not really shy AROUND girls... its just the fact of getting down to business is kinda a problem... meaning that I can talk to girls all night but I kinda have a problem reading the "signs" if you know what I mean. Like if a girl is really "feeling" me I usually cant tell and than I go and mess it up somehow. I can explain the 6 engagements... I was with a girl for 2 years and I thought that we were meant to be togeather forever... boy was I wrong... we broke up just 3 weeks after I proposed... I spent 2000 on that engagement ring and never got it back. *Kinda ****ty of her huh?* The next few were kinda quick engagements... usually around 3 or 4 months after we got togeather. Than the 2nd to last one the girl I was with I was living with and she got pregnant and I was "in love with her" although it was artificial love... b/c of the pregnancy. And the last one... I was alittle drunk... actually... I proposed to her at a party in the bathroom just after I puked... and the main thing was I had forgotten that I had broken up with her the night before... and after drinkin a case of Corona with lime nothin seems right if you know what I mean... I broke that one up the day after the party when she was talkin about it to my new girlfriend... I had to SCREAM at her b/c she insisted that I was sober... and I was SMASHED... and I didnt even remember giving her the ring... and proposing. Well thats my life story... I guess that I didnt need to go all into detail like that but... I felt like it at the time... :)

I was just wondering because on another thread they were talking about the amount of guys to girls and that somethin like 40% of the guys that go there are gay. So is that true?

Is that all girls think about "the diamonds"? Oh well... I think that most girls are material like that... but I supose that if thier being offered than why not right? I guess that if some girl came over to me... shook her ass in my face and offered me a beer I would take it... so I would expect ANY girl to accept some diamonds... thats only fair right? :)

I would do the apts. on where to live. If you are thinking about having a sex life then it's kinda weird having sex in the same room as 3 other people and then having to walk down the hall to freshen yourself up afterwards.About the whole sex life thing....I know that last year my roomates were polite enought to keep their stuff on their bed......I kept my stuff on mine. I didn't need a sign. I think that most people have that common courtesy. About the whole gay thing.....there are alot of homosexual people but they are some of the greatest people that I have ever met in my life. As for the whole diamonds thing.....I'm sorry but if a guy can't get me a ring that you think I deserve then, this relationship isn't ready for that level. We both need to be solid on the finances before we should take a major step like that. Does that make sense?
