I asked Sherlock some question about Cedar Point and this site was one of the frist to come up. I don't remember when Jeff first started this site but I think it was when it was pretty new.
I did a search for "Cedar Point" on yahoo as well. I was originally just fooling around with some extra time in Typing Class and needless to say, I got hooked.
After I invented the internet, I came here. 12 years later, Jeff built this site around where I happened to be standing.

I found this site when Jeff first advertised its opening. He posted the news to rec.roller-coaster and I have been visiting ever since.

Just kidding....
I found this site either through r.r.c. or browsing for photos....maybe a combination of the two. But I do know I dont bother to go back to the r.r.c. newsgroup anymore....its ugly in there

I found it when I searched for Cedar Point, but didn't find CP Place until a month later.
All I know is that this is the BEST site.
OK. i've hadn a couple glasses of wine, so forgive any typos in advance please..i got the whople story form my man on how he found this site...he was searching for RCT info and came across the CP layout. he said "this can't be real" because the MF track was on there and it was as close to CP as one could possibly get. so he downloaded it to show to me, then went looking for "Millennium Force" on the web. and lo and behold, go tell it on the mountain, there was Guide to the Point. ta da!! so here i am now, on this site and loving it!! my original theory was close....

Wow, it looks to me like it was good this site was registered with Yahoo or there would be a lot less members than there are now!
50% of new visitors (people who have never been here) do indeed come from Yahoo.
