How cold in May

How cold does it get in the dorms in may...............should i bring some blankets?

now this COULD just be me because it's going to sound very weird - but I honestly noticed ZERO temperature change in my room all summer. THAT being said - sun only got into it after like... 3 PM because of the way my window faced... and i didn't get there till june... I would bring blankets, just incase, and since you won't NEED them later - extra padding for your bed =)

Most people in the commons dorms abuse the a/c and keep their room as cold as possible! I understand it, I would too. Nothing like snuggling up with your favorite...... blanket. But all the commons rooms, apartments and dorms, have heating that really works! So it really depends on if you and your roommates want these things on.

Like JaxonOSU said, the extra blankets can be used for padding on your bed. The beds are not the most comfortable things to sleep on. It is also better to have a few more blankets and be warm in May then not any at all and freeze every night.

I remember proocessing in May 2nd last year...IT was freezing!...

Well, generally, the temperature in Sandusky is fairly chilly in May...Low 40s to upper 30s at night, with highs up to low 60s or so. I'd bring them just to be safe..same rule applies for layering clothing: "You can always take it off, but you can't put on what you don't have."

I see your from Toledo. I am too, and i'd say its about the same in Sandusky as it is here in Toledo. Some days it can be really warm and others it can be freezing.

Remember also that Cedar Point sits on the lake which can make it 5-10 degrees colder there than even 10 miles inland. That breeze really makes things seem chilly sometimes.

Yeah, the weather can also change quickly...*snicker*
We had 80 degree weather, cooled down a bit, and 3 days later we had 6 inches of snow, the next day it was 70 again. :P

the weather in may is ok. you might have a little rain once in a while but wait untill next month when the weather will start to get hotter and if you stay in commons your're ok due to the a/c but at cedars you need a fan and a window. but most of the time when it's nice outside you'll be like me and sitting outside and enjoying the breeze off the water or in the day time enjoying snake river falls or thunder canyon or going to soak city. but you might want to bring extra blankets for bed cover and comfort and pillows because the pilliows are small.
