How Big is the Seat Belt?

I haven't been on MF this season yet,but last year was really tight. Xcelerator was also really tight. Even without the waistpack on,they had to help a couple of times.

I was really worried about TTD,but had no problems at all. And I don't recall losing any weight over winter! :)

Any rides with seatbelts, I run the belt under the waistpack to gain as much room as possible.

Dave-do you run belt under yours or over?

It does suck to be big and go to Cedar Point, but to tell you the truth, Cedar Point is a lot better than some other parks. I remember going to Paramount's Great America and not being able to ride one of their coasters because I was too big. A lot of people were turned down.

As far as MF goes, I am the limit, but everyone isn't shaped the same. I wore a 44 in pants last year but I could still fit despite my height (6'0). Since then I have losted almost 60lbs so I should be cool for this year.

My advice is just to use the test seat, I meant it is right there. Don't stand in line and be embarassed because you can't ride when you can find out from the beginning.

Belt goes under the bag, of course. The bag is around my waist; the belt goes over my thighs. It wouldn't make sense to carry the ______ bag down there! :)

How much leg room does the ttd give the riders. I am a big athletically built guy, and have had problems before shoehorning myself into seats. I am 6' 6" and 230 lb. I only have a 36-37 inch waiste, so the waist size shouldnt be an issue for me, but i have had a lot of problems with knew room. Son of the Beast, just destroyed my knees when i rode it but i didnt have problems when i rode MF last year. I also squezed myself into wicked twister, and mantis last year. I had planned on buying a season pass, as for the first time i will be living within 2.5 hrs of the park, but am rethinking that as the park does not seem to cater to the larger patrons.
There isn't a lot of foot room on Dragster, but the train is open enough that there is a lot of 'wiggle room' for legs and knees and such. If you have long legs, you might want to gravitate to an even-numbered row (front seat of a car; remember there is no front seat in the lead car) where there is literally nothing to bump your knees into while riding.

I tested out the test seat on Dragster and the belt fit with a little help from my friend. I didn't ride it because the line was 3 hours long!! So, we went to MF, in which we waited 20 mintues for, and the belt didn't fit (MF is my FAVORITE so I was disappointed)!!! Sooo I think that the Dragster belts are a little bigger. Boy, was it embarassing having to leave :( Anyways, make sure you check the belts on the test seat if you have any questions. I'm gonna work my butt off to make sure I can ride Dragster and MF comfortably this summer! :) Anyone know of any good cheap gyms around the area? ;)
