how are YOU celbrating May 4th???

Hi its me again Cory Marshall, I'm not sure if i'm going to make it to opening day on the fourth but if not I have a great weekend planed at the point for the weekend of May 16th 17th and half of 18th I can't wait but If I cannot make it I will also be watching the webcams like last year! But hopefully I can Make it!!! Hoping!!!

I run a tour company, and we're taking a couple of bus loads of enthusiasts from Canada to celebrate opening day!

I'm going to be working on May 4th... :(

Then again, I'll probably have rode TTD before then anyway.

Last year was my first 'Opening Day' visit. I wasn't planning on riding Wicked Twister that day, because I wanted to see it a few times before getting on. But once I saw it up close and in person, I was strangely drawn into the queue.

This year, I intend to experience my second "Opening Day' visit. I'm thinking that I might need to witness Dragster as a spectator for a few visits before trying it out myself... So who knows?

My life's an improv. I'm planning to be at CP May 4, but won't know for sure until that weekend.

My son has MEAP testing the week before, AP testing on the 5th and 8th...might be a stretch for him to go on the 4th.

I'm going to try my best to be at CP, because I was so upset last year when I had to sit around at home celebrating cinco de mayo while everyone else was riding millie and the rest. *tear*. If I can't make it I will probably be sulking alone in my room watching my "roller coaster" tape that has gotten me through these long winter months.

If any of you live near London, Ontario, I still have seats available on a highway coach bound for the Point on opening day! We'll be leaving London at 5:30am and should be at Cedar Point no later than 10am.

Thoughts of kicking off the summer with a bus load of enthusiasts on a road trip to Cedar Point has been keeping me through the winter!

Scratch my previous post. I'll no longer be there on opening day. My mom said I could go if I got a 3.2 grade point average. I was like this is not cool considering the 3rd nine weeks is the hardest of all of them. Guess what I got? 3.16.

But rounding makes it a 3.2! Me I'm not sure what I'm doing. I would like to go! Camp that Friday night (at bayshore) go on the fourth. Camp Saturday night possible go back and try to hit Dragster a few more times on the 5th. Then go home! Or visit my friend at OSU, and the Columbus Zoo, its really up in the air right now!

well i think i will be going down the night b4 and staying in a cheap hotel on the 250 then get up at the break of dawn shave shower get breakfast, then at 5 minute past dawn go to the point lol ;) well i will probably head towards CP at like 9ish...yay CP RULEZ!

Can anyone tell me how busy CP will be on opening day? I realize the coasters will be very busy, but what about the other areas, especially the kiddie areas...

jeez, 27 days away...ill probably get there at 4 in the morning, and drive out there, 20 minutes away... great fun...
