how are YOU celbrating May 4th???

well, i was just wondering how everyone was going to celebarte the opening of the worlds greatest amusement park. My friends and I are having a little thing called "Adrenaline Weekend". it all starts May 3rd with a journey to Six Flags fo some mediocre thrills, just to kick off the festivities. Then, we journey to wonderful Sandusky Ohio to view the new ride one last time. Then, at 3 A.M., we journey to Cedar Point, a few 12 packs of Code Red in the trunk, and wait, patiently.
Sounds like fun i'd be there with if I ONLY HAD A LICENSE!!! BTW, did anybody here if Indiana changed the license age to 18??? please say no..........

Nope, still 16 and 30 days if you take driver's ed and 16 1/2 if you don't. My little bro just got his license last week, so unless they changed the law in the past few days, haha. Under 18 does have restrictions though, like no passengers in the first 90 days and the curfew and such.

You people are lucky, Here in NYC....You cant get a license till your 18!!!. And just a permit at 16 with ALOT of limitations. Anyway, Thats why my bro is driving me and some friends to CP in june. Thats when i'll be celebrating.

Hello,

I'll spend May 4th peaking a Web Cams.

I'll spend May 8th-12th in a Lighthouse Cabin. I hope I don't need mittens!

See you at 420 feet! :)

Back to the Breakers this summer! :)

I'll be at the Point with some friends of mine. This will be my first opening day visit. I can't wait.
I will wake up nice and early in my warm bed (located 5 minutes away from the World's Greatest Amusement Park). I will shower, make myself presentable, have a tasty breakfast (probably involving a blueberry bagel, I like those) and head off to work. I will wander down the empty midways to the front of the park, hearing the rides as they are just "waking up," smelling the fresh scent of the lake on the breeze and hearing the raucous cries of the seagulls as they swoop overhead. ^_^ I will wander up to the Front Gate and see all of you folks looking in, the excitement and anticipation written all over your faces as you wait for those gates to go up. Yes, May 4th is going to be a very, very good day.

Probably driving by the local park to watch SV and PT test.
We're having a parade for it! (not really, just our local town parade, but I'd rather be on TTD 420 ft. up!)

I'll be watching the web cams too, like MrScott. I'm planning my one-day Point vacation as we speak, I'm shooting for the hot summer months to go.

.:.:KyLe:.:.

I, for one, cannot wait the 39 days till May 4th. This will be one of the most wonderful days ever. 420 feet tall, 120 mph, it doesn't get any better than that. coaster bliss.
I have a week of insanity.....

School, performing at Battle of the Bands Friday, SAT Saturday, track meet Saturday...then track meet on Monday after the 4th!

Well KyleG, that makes three of us who will be watching the webcams. I probobly won't be able to make it out to CP until the last week in August. Hope the crowds aren't too bad then.

I'm celebrating the 4th by returning to the place that makes me happier than anywhere else on Earth. Just a little over 1 month away!

I feel the same way, Ralph...That's why I'm going the following weekend. When the park is open everyday, instead of just Sunday.

I am looking to the 5 1/2 hour drive to clear my head and the 4 days there to refresh me completly.

I need it bad.
