Housing Training

I got an email telling me that I need to attend "Housing Training".

What is this? What does it cover?

Thanks.

Okay if you live in housing, you're required to go to this class that tells you all the rules and what not about living in employee housing. Its pretty basic like having guests in your room and stuff.

Training is held on Point, you can just take the employee bus there.

do you have to take your house training before you move in to your room?

No. You can start unpacking after you go to HR / your department.

To build on the question of order you must do things, if I process at 4:40 and have to move into employee housing that night but do not have any other training to do that day would it be possible/plausible to get to go to the park for a while that night if it closes at 8?

I know I have all summer but I'm going to be anxious with all the normal excitement plus what has built up after a 14 hour drive and being with a friend who has never been to cedar point.

Processing in only takes like an hour tops with HR and then the drug test is real quick. If you don't have much stuff to unpack, or you're not in a hurry and really want to go ride rides, then just dump your stuff off and go to the park. However, I don't recommend that. I would thoroughly clean the room, closets (lockers), and beds to help avoid any pests entering your room in the future. Take Lysol!

Bleach everything and clean everything..

You have no clue what has been done on your beds prior to you putting your sheets on them :P
