Housing: Cedars 2013

Hey guys!

Since I consider working at the point next season, I started searching information about housing and I found some bad things about cedars (I would come mid June because I'm an international and I think all the other dorms will be filled up). That's why I wanted to know if cedars housing has improved this year. How are the dorms this year? Maybe anyone living there can send me some photos so that I know what I can expect! I'm pretty sure this was the last season for Cedars and Golds.

Nothing really has changed with housing, beyond the improved WiFi. It's still... housing. I'll have to look and see if I can find any pictures.

Correct.

They are adding an additional dorm building next to the 1400's, which is already under construction.

It was so nice to see construction going on next to the 1400's...CP employees deserve alot more than what they have right now..

Also totally forgot to say it, but good job on sky ride this year, you guys are probably one of my favorite crews this year, it was also nice running into you as well. There aren't too many people from my year still there at the park, so memories are dwindling haha

Die Studenten Wohnheim sind sehr schlecht, bayside und commons auch! Manchmal muss man mit 3 or 4 leute leben. Das Zimmer ist sooooo klein dass Man bekommt nur ein Bett, ein Tisch, und platz fur Kleidungen. In commons du hast keine Küche, nur ein Mikrowelle. Bei Arbeit muss man 50 oder Stunden pro Woche arbeiten. Es ist immer sehr Warm (35-42C)! Es macht Spaß aber es ist schwierig Arbeit.

I saw a bunch of mattresses from Cedars thrown out by the garbage dumpster next to pier 13, figured that was probably a sign that the nails are in the coffin for Cedars. Anyone know if they are actually razing the building over the winter? It would be nice if they use at least some of that land for some additional marina parking.

I don't know if this was the last year for Cedars Dorm. I do know that every year Employee Housing replaces some of the mattresses. So mattresses in the dumpster is not necessarily a sign that it is the end of Cedars.

I think Cedars/Golds at least has another season or two, considering the dorms aren't up and running yet anyways...

Also, if they do get rid of off point housing they had better get more busses, the one bus every what 15 min is ganna fill fast with all the internationals and people w/o transportation having to take the busses now...
