One more thing about the phones - they're not fancy! Strictly an old rotary phone. Technically you're not supposed to bring an answering machine or anything, but I always did bring my own phone and I know a lot of other people did. You can switch them out like any other phone.
As for roommates, the dorms have 2 people per room except for a very few larger rooms that have 3-4. Apartments (Commons anyway) have 4 bedrooms with 3, 3, 3, 4 people in each one (each bedroom with a different lock) so there are 16 total people to share the kitchen/living area/2 bathrooms. I stayed in the on-point dorms because I'd rather just have the 1 roommate and be that much closer to work and deal with community bathrooms than have to share with so many all the time!
ddludwig - don't worry about the ages! I've known people that work there from 14-15 up to 50+, and no one really cares how old you are, just how hard you work for your crew. Don't stress about it, it's a great experience!
