Housing?

So whats up with housing I heard we show up and its first come first serve. I go there May 8 will i get a good room choice?

Yeah, You'll be fine. Since you're a guy I'm guessing, you'll probably be in the 1400 building of Commons Dorms. :)

Correct, that is, unless you find roommates instead. I would recommend finding people that are in your area/work location/department to room with if possible as you will likely have similar hours and shifts. About housing filling up, if you are wanting to room somewhere like bayside apartments you should find people to room with that process in early as it fills up very quick. However, you will be sharing an apartment with more people and there is not AC in the rooms only living room unless you bring a window AC. I would recommend commons dorms as they are cheaper and have AC and I've heard a lot of fun/partying goes down at commons. Its newer, but the guys rooms typically fill up really fast.

Most likely. I processed in on Sunday, May 6th last year and it was full even before then.

i process in may 30th do you think everything will be filled up by then ? I at least want a bayside or a commons apartment because i dont have enough money for a mini fridge

If you process in on May 30th, then go for Common Apartments. Bayside will be full by then...

Bayside is the first to fill up so I'd find some people to room with that process in early. Bayside has like 6 people or so per apartment whereas commons apartments have 16. Also, no air in apartment rooms just common area unless you purchase a window AC for your room. The apartments are more expensive too! Everyone has told me bayside or Commons Dorms(has AC!) and to avoid Commons Apartments. If you find people to room with in the dorms I'm sure at least one of you will have a mini fridge so you would be fine.
