What do you receive in the area of furniture when you live in the dorms?

A twin size bed, a dresser and a locker if you live in the dorms.

Living on-point you get a twin size bed, and a dresser.

If you live in the apartments, you get a couch, a chair and a table with chairs, in the living room, and a bed, and a dresser in your room.

The Gold and Cedars dorms on-point include a dresser, twin-size bed/bunk bed, possibly a table/chair ensemble, but not always. There's a telephone in each room as well - they were rotary phones when I was there, so you'd be better off to bring your own!

Oh yeah, I forgot about the phone. I always took mine off the wall in favor of my own phone and answer machine. In the off point housing there is also cable outlets for free. If you live close enough to CP, wait til some of your roomies get moved in and determine who has a TV, and if more than one person does determine whose TV is bigger and better and bring that one. The apartments (both commons and bayside) also have small kitchenettes which have a stove and refrigerator in them.

cable outlets?

Is there any provision for getting a cable modem in any of the dorms? I'm sick and tired of SLOW 'Net connections (A dial-up back home that's limited to 28.8k due to crappy phone lines, and my college's on-campus Ethernet that ranges from 100k a second to 100 bytes a second depending on how many people are online at the time).
