Housing

Since I'm a first year I have absolutely NO idea about where to live etc. I've heard numbers thrown around like 1300 and such and honestly have no idea where and what said number is. Any information about housing/pictures would be amazing!

go to your jobnet where you accepted your job offer and click on housing info it will tell it to you there
the 1300,1400,1500 is common dorms prolly the best to live in.

the job offer doesn't really tell me other people's views on said housing.

the on point ones I have heard can be really hot since there is no air and can get really dirty and everything i really dont know for sure though just going by other people.

The aprtments have a full kitchen and that is a big plus but you live with 8-12 others and 2 me I wouldnt like that. the kitchen is a nice bonus though

the dorms to me are the best you live with 2-3 other and you have air right in your room and have lockers and dressers for everything and not so many people to worry about. You can also bring a fridge and will have a microwave and can just eat out too.

Hey everyone!

I'm new this year and I'm planning on staying in the commons dorms. I was wondering if they have small trashcans in the dorm, or if I should bring a small one with me. Also if there is only one dresser, does every person in the dorm have a drawer to use? Are the lockers big enough to hang your clothes up in (should I bring hangers?), and would they hold my laptop and other personal items I want to keep locked up?

yes they have trashcans and they give you a new trash bag from the front every time you need it, they are really strict on you using their trash bags because some ppl like to leave their trash in the hallways so they put your room number on the bag and if they find it any where else but in the trash, you will get wrote up, there is one dresser and lockers in your room, but bring your own lock. the lockers are large enough to hang clothes, bring hangers, yes its a little safe box in side the lockers that can hold smaller, a laptop should be able to fit.

it depends because the safe box in my locker could not have fit a laptop in it. you can also lock your locker on the outside though so your laptop should be safe.
