How many roommates do you have in Cedars? Or does it vary by room? I've never been in Cedars, but I visited a friend in Gold once, and she had a two person room, and I seem to remember her saying they were all two person. Just curious.

I think most of the rooms are just 2 people, but, I know they do have some that are 3. My friend had a 2 person room in Cedars last year, but, in 2006, my boyfriend had a 3 person room.

In Cedars there are some 2 person rooms, most of them are 3 person rooms and they even have a few 4 person rooms there...

Yeah, that's what I was wondering...I know a lot of the rooms were more spacious than in Golds, haha.

Well, when one was a star hotel back in the day, and the other was originally employee housing built back...I want to say late 20s, you may expect a slight difference in room sizes. ;)

I am going down for work in a couple of weeks i am thinking only bayside will be open then right?

Commons is supposed to be opening in late April...so yeah, Bayside until then.

Thanks i know bayside has a/c in the living room does anyone know if you can put in your room i cant stand being hot when i am trying to sleep i plan on moving to gold when it opens it would be easier if i could just have it there right away instead having someone bring it down for me later in the season.

Another question about Cedars. I'm assuming if you live there, and you have a car, it stays out in the lot by Commons? I imagine parking by Spiral gate every night would be frowned upon. I don't know if I'd like the idea of being "trapped" on point after the buses stop running.

One of my friends lived in Golds last season, and you do leave your car at the lot by spiral gate every night. The only thing bad about that was, well you had to walk through the park (say, with your groceries) to get back to the room. I'm not really sure where exactly people park for Cedars though.

I believe there's a small lot on the bay side of Cedars where employees can park. Its not the area right in front of Famous Dave's, but back behind the wings of the building.

employees can park by cedars for the 1st part of the season, but after that, all must park at spiral, or commons.

That sounds perfectly fine to me. I don't mind the walk to Spiral Gate (assuming it isn't raining or something) just as long as I have access to my car. :)

Yeah most of the time you are required to park in the Space Spiral gate although if you do have groceries or anything large to carry to your room you are allowed to pull right up to the front of Cedars for a short amount of time to unload and then you have to park it back in Space Spiral lot.

Yeah but dont worry about bringing your car there, you can park there anytime (except the parking ban days...which I think total to about 3 or 4 days at the most the entire season).

Just so that everyone knows, Commons Dorms will be opening on April 15th!

Well now ill have more then one choice besides Bayside do there doors to the rooms lock? Last time i had lived there i know they had not thats the only thing that concerns me about Bayside but i also read some where that they are going to have internet in Bayside this year ?

If you live in the Employee Housing, is there any rule against having guests over night? im from CT and i was hoping my friends could come and spend the night and visit the parks, etc.
