I'm not sure about the kitchen staff hours, but for most positions espically in rides you work close to 80 hrs espically during the peak time of the season

'I WANT more hours, 75 just isn't enough'
It really depends on how your sups schedule you and the available labor and stuff. You SURE you want to work 80 hours? 80 hours is pretty much go to work in the morning, work all day/afternoon/night, come home go to sleep 'cuz you're too tired to do anything, and get like a day off.

That's definitely not my game. My sweet spot is around 65 or 70, and I can get those hours too.

I'll see how goes it. One thing is for certain, I'm cRaZy.

If I actually like doing my job, even slightly, I'll probably squeeze as mnay hour in as they'll let me.

13-14 hours per day for 6 days straight is what it takes to work 80 hours.I think my back is going to hurt from all that standing and bending over at first. Oh well, I'm not sensitive to pain. I think I'm the only one that though getting my all 4 of wisdom teeth extracted at once was cool. It was one of the most interesting experinces I've been through.

DAMN! 80 hours is definately a lot. Over here at Knotts they usually don't schedule anyone over 40 hours a week because to get more than that many hours you are generally a part time or full time employee, which qualifies you for overtime pay. Even then they try not to do overtime. Anyways, what really kills me is a shift ending at 10:30pm and beginning at 6:30am. That JUST meets the legal minimum time between shifts.

For those sweepers out there like me: Stretch. Good stretches for sweepers include shoulder rolls, touching your toes, flexing and extening your foot, and quadricep stretches.

ps. Does CP have employees stretch prior to going to work? Over here at knotts we do while getting breifed on the daily events such as special promotions and ride closures. Once we even had to do sit ups and push ups.

you will get as many hours as you like to a point....each division has limitations and you must talk to your supervisor and/or area manager to see what those limitations are. once you have done that just ask and they will do your best. remember not to get "burned out" because that is a major problem by midsummer (mid july-august) and dont try to do too much and get yourself sick.

whatever man! you really are crazy, but i'm pretty sure you'll change your tune as soon as you get up there. your going to meet all kinds of new people and see all of the cool rides and the beech and everyone will be talking about Louie's or some other bar that they went to last night and you'll want to go. it's good to want to work and make money and be productive but you're also at CEDAR POINT for godsakes, you have to give yourself a little time to have fun!
I gotta be the only person who only wants to work 48 hours a week. seems as though evryone wants to work crazy hours.

...and the most anticipated event of summer 2003 is...

The Matrix: Reloaded!

I'm probably a lil' insane in thinking that I want to try to do as many O-C as possible :D! Not really, but I do need as much cash as I can get for school expenses.

CP_bound, what about T3? I have the hankering it's the one movie that'll give the new Matrix a run for it's money.
