If you are staying voernight and you already made a reservation and say its gonna rain and u want to cancel and move it to another day are you fined if its before 72hours?
As long as you MOVE a reservation, there is no penalty.
If you completely cancel one, I don't remember the exact details, but I believe if it is inside 72 hours, you forfeit the deposit, but get the rest back.

oh so say im checking in on june 10th and i see in the forcast it is raining and i call and move it to another day there is no penalty?....and if so how late can you call to move it?
I'm not sure since I've never had to move a planned trip. Give the park a call, they should be able to give you a definitive answer. I would guess that you are going to pay some penalty if you call up at 10am the day you are supposed to check in and are asking to change your reservation. Especially during the busy season.

no....im talking like 3 days bfore when the forcast comes out for the week...i kno it can change real fast cause cedar point is on the water but i has a miserable 3 day trip last year as we were going to go into the park 3 times and ended up in the park for 4 hrs of that 3 days and rode 3 roller coaster (NOT FUN!) all because it rained like no other and i dont want that to happen again

I've spent some rainy halloweekends riding in the past. They are fun, especially Magnum with a light drizzle at night. Nothing beats it.

well i hate going in the rain. I rode millenium in the rain last year and it hurt like no other. The rain felt like rocks hitting you in the face lol

That's why sunglasses and a hoodie are your best friends in that situation.
Throw on your sunglasses, cinch down your hood, man up and ride already. :)
That's why you use sunglasses (with strap) to protect your eyes, and then tighten down the hoodie and use it to protect the bottom of your face. It is really quite effective.
