Embraced - fixed it for you. :)

Post script: my shower was nice and hot this am. And I had an amazing Sangria at Trail Tavern :) Might just get another one. If u see me say hi. I'm a blonde in a black hat and New York tee

Hmm, having a Sweetwater IPA there now, must have missed you. Excellent IPA.

An added note, I'm having some Apple Pie Moonshine at Trail Tavern. New this year, they have three different flavors of Moonshine. According to the manager, Trail Tavern is the only place in Ohio you can currently buy it. Very tasty stuff!

The new Breakers has absolutely exceeded my expectations. It is downright surreal to walk around the place since there are the familiar elements yet so much has been changed. The entire layout of the resort has been thoughtfully rearranged on a scale I never would have imagined. The outdoor pool area is quite the complex now between the water play area and new jacuzzi, and I hear they are planning to have a DJ and other activities, which sounds very Disney of them (in the best possible way).

The real winners are the rotunda and outdoor fire pit area. The two sections marry the lobby to the boardwalk and beach in a very natural way. Right now the vibe around the outdoor seating areas is perfect. It is mellow and pleasant in a way I didn't think was possible that close to the park. At the moment there isn't any area music, so I hope that if/when any comes they maintain the calm vibe. The Toes in the Sand Band will be a nice complement to the area.

As others have said, the new Breakers is pretty incredible. I never thought I would see something of this scale and ambition happen at Cedar Point. Great work all around.

"Thank the Phoenicians!"

One thing I can't stand (and I know it sounds nit picky), is when a distributor or venue sells "moonshine". You can put the contents of a low proof alcohol inside a mason jar, but it still doesn't hide the fact that it isn't real moonshine.

Well, this stuff is better than most. It's 80 proof and they fill a wine glass with it. To me, the 8 bucks they charge for it is worth it.

Wow! 8 dollars for 80 proof alcohol isn't bad at all considering CP prices. But, my original comment about "moonshine" still stands for me :)

What's scary is that you're psyched for Shoot the Rapids.

For the record, I view this site as a place for discussion that primarily centers around opinion-oriented questions. You know, "what's the next big thing?", "where's the best this or that?", "What color should they paint Tiki Twirl?", stuff like that.

There's no way I would trust this crowd with questions like "are there campsites available this weekend?" "what rides will be running tomorrow?", "what are the rates?", "is the hotel open?", or anything that might cause me to make a serious error or a wasted trip. Especially when there is a much better source at my fingertips.
Maybe you didn't care for the tone of some respondents, but regardless, this is advice everyone should follow.

Anyway, it sounds like everyone moved on but you. I wish you would let it go, quit crying, and stop telling contributors here to shut the hell up. Your rudeness here has far surpassed anything anyone said to you.

If you ever post something like that on here again, it will be the last thing you post.

Sorry to have missed you Pete. I decided not to get too liquored up since I had to watch over my 80 yr old mom (always a nurse) Was really good though. And a final review of the new Breakers: TGIFridays meals were meh-underwhelmed, Perkins in the AM-fabulous (Mediterranean omelet and pancakes), Friendly staff all around; you could see how proud they are of the new digs. Can't wait to go back next month! I'll chill around the fire pit with a better beverage choice :)

I thought that somebody might be staying there and know. That's why I asked this. You all already voiced that I shouldn't do that, so just drop it.

And RCMAC, why do you say what rides I can and cannot like?

Yes, because god forbid I ask a question on a forum where others might also want to know.

Why not ask the park the question, and share the accurate information thereby gained with others who might want to know?

Because if I did, and then post that, it would get deleted like every third thread on this site.

"Hey everyone, I just found out that Breakers is open before the park opens!"

"This is not a discussion. You need to stop creating new threads. Slow down or I'll delete your account".

And he's back.
Dude, it was just some friendly advice. I'm not crying over you, and I couldn't care less what you or half of 'em post on here.
What prompted my polite but direct response was when you doubled up with endless quotes, and repetitive, rude responses that bordered on abuse. It seems I'm not the only one who noticed, either, (I'd pay strict attention to that if I were you), and I'll assume it was you who removed the offensive posts. So, good.

Ok, bye.

When did I say that?

In the two posts I deleted. Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about.

I knew that I said it, I didn't know that you deleted it. You could have just edited it out.

"When did I say that?" "I knew that I said it..."

That made me laugh.

I'm a Marxist, of the Groucho sort.

He posted a long winded response to me, prompting my reply at 9:51 then deleted it. He mightve been sure that I didnt see it, but I had just logged in. That post was replaced by two more while I was typing.

The STR comment I made was a joke- not about coasterblu so much, but more about the ride itself. Which happens a lot around here, so what?

Every third thread here is deleted? I has no idea.

Oh well.
