Couldn't remember my old account info, (Good Grief), but thought of this site after checking into the Breakers today. SO beautiful! I love all the changes (except for one; the new bed spread choice). But the entrance, halls, rooms, new fire-pits, the rotunda, the new bar & coffee shop are amazing. I just love all the throwbacks to the history, but so updated. The old pictures in black and white really pop. It's now worth what we pay to stay here. I also found the staff all very amiable and customer service oriented. Only issues so far are the showers not hot enough and my $8:00 Bay Breeze drink had almost no alcohol in it. Next time I'll just go with a glass of red Moscato. Well done Cedar Fair!

Yes, because god forbid I ask a question on a forum where others might also want to know.
Why not ask the park the question, and share the accurate information thereby gained with others who might want to know?
By your logic, half of this website should be deleted. Calm down, and maybe open your mind a little tiny bit and think that maybe, just maybe, somebody here might be staying at Breakers and know the answer and give it in a more fun way than someone over the phone could. Scary how you could not figure that out.
The logical thing to do would be to contact the park with your park or accommodations question. Receiving an accurate answer instead of speculation. Would you be mad if some random bloke on here answered "sure you can do this! or yes! the hotel actually opens two days before opening day!" Then find out that information is incorrect?
Using the parks official website or calling the park or hotel directly is the best and most logical course of action. Then you can share that information here. Not trying to be rude, just trying to help direct you to the best possible place to get an accurate, correct answer to a park related inquiry.

I ask this in all seriousness. Why rely on an anonymous person on the Internet who may or may not actually be staying at the Breakers, when a quick phone call or email directly to the hotel will get you the answer to your question?
I'm a Marxist, of the Groucho sort.
Just a few more random thoughts. The Surf Lounge is a very friendly place. Had a number of nice conversations with other guests and the bar tenders generally ask for your name and address you with your name. Everyone in the hotel really seemed to try to make you feel welcome.
They have really embraced technology. All the lights in the rooms and public spaces seem to be LED. The rooms have iHome speakers equipped with Bluetooth. Easily paired with my phone to play music. The LG TVs are very nice and they have HD programing on most channels. Also, lots of electric outlets so guests can plug in their various devices. WiFi in the room works very well.
The bedding is really nice. The mattress in my room is very comfortable and I would be pleased to have it in my home. Everything in the room and hotel seems new and contemporary.
The fire pits are a great social meeting place to hang out and relax. Beautiful design and execution.
This really is a new hotel with some familiar areas. A really meaningful upgrade that CP can rightfully be proud of. It feels deluxe but casual in an island kind of way. Good job CP, I think the hotel will be a big hit with guests.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
