Hi new here from Darien Lake wanting a change!

HI everyone, well ive worked at Darien Lake for three seasons allready and next year I think I want to move down to CP. Quick question, is there opportunity for me to become a team leader on rides since I already have 3 seasons experience? Reason I ask we have an employee at DL who worked at CP for 2 years and he is allready a Team Lead after a month.

Eh, they really promote from within. But if you're a good employee for a season or two you have a good chance.

2005/2006: Cedar Point - Millennium Force
2007/2008/2009: Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom - Tomorrowland Speedway
2008: Hard Rock Park - Maximum RPM! Opening Supervisor
2008/2009: Universal Orlando - Men in Black: Alien Attack Team Leader, Guest Services Coordinator

These days it's not unlikely to get promoted mid-season your first year. All depends on how you perform.

I've seen people coming in from other parks with a cocky attitude about knowing everything and they didn't last long. You might have experience at another park but it's not at Cedar Point and will be worthless if your attitude stinks. If you put the extra effort in and use your experience as well as fitting into the new enviroment, you shouln't have any trouble showing management that you are worth something. Also, smaller rides will give you a better chance at in charge time which looks really good to them when they pick someone.

Im not saying ill be coming in with a cocky attitude haha. Now how are rides split up in the park, is there differnt ride areas or what?

2 areas, 4 zones and each ride has its own TL, each zone has its own 2 supervisors and there's an area manager for each area
