HELP ME!!!

I just got my interview (over the phone) and I am uber excited! But how do I know if I got the job??? I am soooo confused! PLEASE HELP ME!!!

The guy that I talked to said that I wouldn't get an email... he said that I would either get something in the mail or recive a phone call... should I be woried? I really hope to be a part of the crew... after reading other threads it sounds like a blast! Can anyone else help me out??? If you can I definately can use the advice. ANY ADVICE

If you applied online you should already have a password. Just keep an eye on your application status. If your hired it will tell you. The contract normally takes a week to show up. If your not hired yet it will say last reviewed by and whomever last looked at your application. I really don't know what to tell you if you applied in person or by mail. But if you were interviewed today, I would call on Monday or Tuesday next week. Give the paperwork some time to move. It's a good sign when they call you!

So than I SHOULD call them back... My interview was on Wed. and I do have an account... thanx for all of your help... I will be sure to call them on Mon. I am just so anxious about the oppoutunity. Like I said thanx for all of your help! :) If anyone else has anymore help let me know!

That is kind of weird...I got hired during my phone interview. This was a few years back though...did they change the hiring process? I first got an e-mail saying they were considering my application, then a week later the manager called me...gave me some information, asked if I had any questions...then just said, "We'll see you in April." That is kind of weird that they didn't let you know during the phone interview, unless different departments do things differently ? If they said they will let you know then they will...

chris i was told over the phone that "I would find out by mail or email in a week or two"... They just had to check my refs and do a background check. As soon as they found out i wasn't an ax murderer they hired me..

See i was told as soon as my phone interview was over...i finished the interview and then i was told "we would like to offer you a position for the 2005 season here at Cedar Point" or something to that effect..obviously i accepted...but then i checked my job account and there was everything i had wanted to know...like ride assignment and processing in information...So my advice is to check your account.

Thanks for all of your help guys... I just looked at my account and I was JUST hired! I am uber excited... I literally jumped for joy when I seen it... now how do I go about changing my process in date because I just found out that I DO have to take my finals before I graduate. If you know anything about that than write me back to let me know. Like I said... Thanks for all of your help!

If you have a pulse they will hire you. Once you meet your co-workers you will know what I am talking about.

I was also told i would be notified within a week or two, but 2 days later my contract was here. So i guess different departments handle things differently.

They told me right on the phone I would get hired, and a week later I got the contract saying I would be running Raptor.

it looks like the majority of foods people are told they'd be notified asap.. who cares really, the person got hired.

You must be a delightful person. Yeah, you meet all kinds of people, but to say they hire anybody is just wrong. They do give most people a chance. Sorry but I believe most deserve it. But screw up and see what happens! Cedar Point while being fair doesn't take chances of a wild card ruining it's reputation. I 've seen many people let go. Most for acting like a immature kid, instead of an adult. And once you screw up, it's almost impossible to get a job there again. Ask anyone on the list.

Once you get over making fun of someone because they may seem strange to you, you will realize that the same strange person has more pride in their job than anyone. That's what Cedar Point looks for, someone who will take pride in there work. Any guest can tell you, you can tell someone who takes pride in their work. Not say well, I only get $6.25 an hour so who cares. I admit, I wasn't big on the idea of working in foods when I was first hired, But that's what I was offered and I wasn't going to blow my chance to work at the greatest amusement park around. Now I wouldn't want to work anywhere else.

thats how i was hired last year, so.. dunno if that matters for anything

I worked in foods my summer and I think that it is the best job in the park.

Any job at CP that you take will be hot and dirty. Foods allowed me contact with the women many of whom I scored with when I got off of work.

It is all a matter of choice however.

I got hired Like 2 days after they called. I was so excited. Im working in Foods also. Im selling treats on the midways. Get to stare and meet ladies all day.
