This year I worked at geauga lake in games, but with only two weekends left in they season, i have started to think about coming back next year. My dilema is I cant decide whether i want to work in games again next year, or work in rides. Next year if I work in games I have the chance of becoming a TL or ATL. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on what to do. I was wondering what it is like to work in rides, how many hours do you get a week. If some one who works at geauga lake could help me, that would be great. Thanks!
I can give a little bit of advice. I used to work at SFNO.i did rides, games, and food service for a week. I switched around to get a little bit of experience in each area and my favorite by far was rides, unless you get stuck on the kiddie rides. but i don't know how geauga lake works.

Being in the rides dept. you'll get all the hours you would like. This past summer the crews had a choice of having two days off for about a month. But if you wish to have the hours, you may. If your sups and the manger think that you are good leadership material you may be promoted to ATL if not TL but not till the season has started usually. Don't expect getting promoted right off the bat though or if promoted at all. I don't want to give your hopes up, i'm just laying it out.
