Hey there former and current Live Shows performers!! My name is Ryan & I worked in Live Shows from '94-'97. I currently reside in west Toledo and have remained very active in community theater (all over a 60 mile radius) over the years. In 2005, I co founded The Coming Attractions Players, based in ROSSFORD OHIO. I also directed the debut production, "Babes in Arms".
Right now, we've announced "Seussical" as our upcoming Summer production and I NEED YOUR HELP!! I'm seeking all current and former Live Shows employees to assist in any fashion possible. I know that you are the "best of the best" and that's what we want!
This musical fantasy by Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens ("Ragtime", "Once on This Island") is based upon the works of Theodore Geisel (aka Dr. Seuss).
This family oriented show mirrors centers on Horton the Elephant's endeavors to protect the people of Who-ville, who live on a tiny speck of dust. It also features characters from many other Seuss books, including Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie LaBird, The Grinch, Yertle The Turtle, The Lorax and of course....The Cat in the Hat.
Audition dates are TENTATIVELY SET for Sunday June 8th and Monday June 9th at 7:00pm (subject to change)at Rossford United Methodist Church, 270 Dixie Highway in Rossford OH 43460.
