HELP!!

I'm like real worried about getting a job here. I applied a long time ago, have had 2 interviews, called and checked my application, but I still have not been called back. Am I totally hopeless in getting a job here? Is this normal? If you know, reply!!

Cedar Point is always understaffed..... you'll get called back.

They're really busy right now......patience.

Sometimes you get a job when you least expect it (I know I did - heading to Kansas to work at an Exotic Animal Farm and going to become a Kansas resident just like Dave aka cheeseonastick!)

yeah! or you could get hired by the college thatt you spent and are spending the last 5 years and one year of my life, respectively.

You may not get called back - you could just get your contract in the mail, no further calls needed. Human resources is really stretched to contact everyone, and if there is no problems with your application or anything, you may just get the contract. The first two years I worked there, I always got the telephone interview, but then the last two years (one of which I couldn't work after all) I just got the contract in the mail, no questions asked. It may be a little out of the ordinary for your first year, but don't stress over it. Wait a week, then call again if you still haven't gotten it. :)

I got called my first year, well actually I called them and then they called me back to do a phone interview. They wanted to make sure I had good hygiene skills :), was a hard worker, etc. etc.

Hey, thanks for responding, but I think I'm screwed when it comes to gettin a job at the Point. Something must have gotten screwed up with the application. I applied a long time ago, so that could be the only thing that went wrong. I guess I'll try next year and hope I'll get in then (hahahaha)

I would definately call again, because I know at least Foods has almost reached their hiring goals. Give them a call, it can't hurt. :)

Well, I had to call THEM back to find out I'd been hired... I didn't get any of my first three choices, though, so I had to go with Food Services, and I got hired there...

I think they might still be hiring, and merchandise as well.
