height for mf

If I recall, there isn't a whole lot of leg room in one of Intamin's trains. When I rode S:ROS last summer, I felt there could have been more room for taller guests..... and I'm only 5 foot 10! If the height requirement ends up being 60", I will be very surprised. If I were a betting man (I will be when I leave for Vegas in 12 days), I'd place my money on 54".

For those of you with leg room problems... It heps if you cross your legs at your shins when you sit down in the car it gives a little more room.

Crossing your ankles works on, say, Magnum, Gemini, and Mine Ride. But it probably won't work on Millennium Force. It doesn't work on Superman: Ride of Steel, because the lap bar mechanism is right in the middle of the footwell, not on the sides as it is on the Arrow coasters. Hence, if you cross your ankles on S:ROS, your feet end up right where the lap bar support rod is. Nope, it's feet on the floor with these rides!

The lap bar mechanism is in the middle of the seat on Mine Ride and I remember bigger people always having problems. Or rather, WE always had problems trying to put the bars down for the big people, and they ended up having to slide down to cross their legs to the sides or get out. I also remember getting a guest complaint because I accidentally put the bar down and this woman's leg was in the middle where the support was, and she didn't tell me that before I cleared the ride. Grrr. That's all I can say. Grrr.

Oh, and I'm glad I never have any leg room problems too. :o) It's awesome! I can fit into any space, no matter how small.

The Mine Ride lap bar mechanism is only in the center of the CAR. The Intamin train has a separate lap bar for each RIDER, with the lap bar pivot point in the center. So it would be comparable to riding Mine Ride in the center of the bench, only with less space.

Mantis and Raptor are not 52 inches they are 54 inches. I think for MF it will be 54 inches.
