If they wanted to build a ride over that I am sure they could.

Turkeys, the only animal smarter than man
The thing that dissappoints me is that so many people are blindly following the media, which is being fed by people like Markey. There have been many people tell me that CP is "sick" for building all these new rides because they're going to "hurt people's brains and kill them." It's amazing how many people are mindless sheep being fed by the media.

Cedar Point does not have a "G Limit". They just wont build a ride that pulls over 5 Gs. It's not a limit, just a standard that the park has.If they wanted to build a ride over that I am sure they could.

why on earth would they? anything over 5 can cause blackouts for some riders even if they are completely healthy. Some jet pilots are exposed to G's well over 12, but have special pressure suits on. just imagine going over a hill and pulling 5 negative G's. or coming off a drop pulling over 5 positive. u whole stay at the park would be ruined

When looking at the midway i saw many markings as to where footers could possibly go. Thinking about how fast they're putting the tower and some supports up is pretty logical to the fact that if this thing is going to go in the midway at all then they are going to have to bust some of that up for footers and such. when you think about it it would probably take longer to redirect the midway if needed and get the midway back into sync than some parts of the roller coaster itself. just a thought
I've heard many people say that the markings will be for utility lines for the ride. You can see on the webcam that they are already digging a line through the Soak City parking lot.

You can look at this pic for the PT shot, (unless you would like to get us another pic, that would be great)...

Even if Ohio does regulate height on coasters, the starting date of the law would be something like “no coaster built after 2003…” or something like that. “Building” of a coaster starts on the drafting board, conference table, and accounting office.
Now, it is possible that CP is rushing to get approval on the 1,000’ nuclear coaster….

Does this mean that CP is shelling out some big bucks for the weekends for the cranes even though they aren't in operation? Is the majority of the money paid for the workers or the cranes?

Maybe they don't feel like topping off a 400 ft. tower in the middle of January.

Lets just say the "hypothetically" the coaster is 410 ft tall, and does a top speed around 110-120. From 410 feet in the air going straight down and picking up speed ur looking at overbanks (if of course their happen to be any) nearly as high as millennium force and defnitely as high as the magnum. So if they get the 410 first element out of the way first, u still have say another 250 ft element to top off possibly in mid winter.
i do agree that it is interesting as to how they are going about building it. like i said before. the key word is "hypothetically"
