Firehawk / X-Flight took those rolls MUCH more slowly than Maverick was going to. And they were still uncomfortable...

Well... on Memorial Day a Maverick employee claimed she had one, and she would trade me it for my Banshee T-Shirt... true story!
I wore my Banshee shirt yesterday and the girl working the ride insisted she remembered me from a couple of weeks ago and it was hard to convince her otherwise. Then she said it was because of the shirt. Perhaps that was you she confused me with?
The elderly turnstile attendant at the park entrance told me not to wear the shirt because someone might mug me for it!

Doesn't the Manhattan Express at NY NY in Vegas have a heartline as well? (It's way way slower than anything that Maverick was doing, if I remember correctly.) *** Edited 6/7/2007 4:10:04 AM UTC by skiboi007***
As far as I remember from my Vegas trip in march, it has a half heartline that turns into a dive. I must say Mean Streak is ALOT tamer then that ride.
Getting back to the Furious Baco roll compared to Mavericks, the Furious Baco one takes almost 3 seconds to navigate whereas the Maverick roll only takes one second to navigate. That, and as said above, the Furious Baco one looks a bit slower.

It is amazing how many times you get asked about Banshee shirts when you wear them in the park... Especially from employees. I can't say I blame them. I actually bought mine off a guy's back. He was walking across campus when I was in college, and I asked him how he got it, and he wasn't real sure. I said I would buy it off him for 5 dollars. He had an undershirt on, and handed it to me right there...
Yes, I washed it first.

So I live in Hersheypark's backyard. The rotational velocity on Storm Runner's heartline roll is MUCH MUCH less than what Maverick was sporting. I probably get 10 or so rides on S.R. per week, and some of those can be brutal in the heartline roll.
I cannot disagree with the manufacture/parks/whomever else's decision to remove that element. It was a good decision.
