Have you ever gotton a rollback?

For me no, I haven't gotten lucky.

Mine was after it stopped raining. waited about an hour. Now that I think back at it, it was cool. But when I was on it, I almost crapped my pants! But The best part is you get to ride it twice without getting back in line!

I live in Florida and visit Cedar Point once a year. I ridden Dragster about 15 times and Ive gotten 1 rollback. I consider myself lucky to at least get 1.

I've had one rollback on TTD this June (sorry can't remember the exact date). I got up to the twisty part, and then back it went. Kinda weird going backwards at that speed, but it was cool. They checked us out, made sure we were OK, and then they relaunched us. Made it over the hill on that try. :)

How often does it rollback thesedays??

Has it ever "Double-rolled back"? Like the same train, with the same people?

I went on July 6th at around 11pm (on ride) in the back row and it was the most fun I ever had on a roller coaster. The whole station was cheering for this one fat guy to fit in the seat, and when he did everyone clapped and cheered and, oh it was fun. Then it was our turn and I swear the whole train wanted a rollback. Everyone on the train, except my dad, put there hands up after the launch, and we were all scream for a rollback before they shot us off.
Sadly... we barly cleared the top of the hill and didn't get a rollback.
But for a split second on the top, I thought we wern't going to make it..
but it was still an aswome experience.

I have seen lucky people rollback 3 times in a row.

I finally got on opening day 2006! Roll back you say? I'm glad I finally rode with or without one! I must admit, after the 1st time I couldn't remember whether or not I really enjoyed myself! (: Well I've only been on 10x and the last couple visits to the park w/ 2 hr waits and a little buddy that just graduated to DT and ID, well, the wait ain't gonna happen even with parent swap. Maybe I'll go up alone next week during SP ERT and fall back if I'm lucky. :)

Yeah, I have had two rollbacks, and they were back to back. It happened after a 2 hour rain delay, we were the first train out.

After we didn't make it the second time, they emptied the last 3 rows of the train, and then sent us...we barely made it.

The best part was that the second rollback, the front of the train crested the hill....but not the rest of it.

To answer your questions DrunkinMonkey:

1. They might happen once in a blue moon (as it hard to tell the differences in train weight, which is a big factor). They also usually happen after it rains...but that's usually with empty trains.

2.Like CP4eva'04, it can rollback more than twice. One time, I watched a train get launched 4 times!!

You really have be lucky to get a rollback this season seeing that Dragster is running really good.

Yeah, great. Let's double the line so you can get your rollback. I'm sure if CP wanted Superman: The escape, they would have just gotten one of those.

I've noticed that they happen after the ride hasn't launch a for a long period of time (20+ minutes). It's not always the first train to launch either, the second and third usually are the ones that rollback.

I'm still rollbackless. :(

I got a Rollback on TTD on my first ride. Haven't gotten one since.

Of my 41 rides Ive never had a rollback on Dragster, but would really love one. Over the summer i should be there a lot due to staying in Sandusky for 6weeks so hopefully I'll get one then.

Only ride Ive had a rollback on is stealth at Thorpe park which i loved so i know a dragster one would be even better.

never, came close twice

i got one under my belt. i was in the front row too. it sucked because after we made it over we were stuck on the brakes for 15 min. not a very long time unless a bird takes a crap on you!!! stupid bird!

My first and only ride on TTD resulted in a rollback... it was last October, and it was misty out enough to keep shutting it down. The line was moving really fast, so we decided to get in... what should've taken 45 minutes ended up being three hours. UG

But I got my rollback!

I'm going again in a few weeks - we'll see what happens...

I've yet to get a rollback. Then again I've only ever gotten a ride in general a late June evening, didn't notice any rollbacks when I was over there either.
