Have you ever gotten sick at CP?

Count me in the CP sick group. I was young (7, maybe 8) and went on the double ferris wheel immediately after eating something from Hofbrau (hot dog with sauerkraut, if I recall) with a redpop chaser. It didn't take long for me to make a street pizza. We had to leave early to go home that day anyway...my Technicolor yawn simply pushed our departure forward a few hours!

I hear ya Jo. I used to love tilt-a-whirl. I would get pissed when I couldn't get a good ride in with a lot of spinning. So last year my sister and I rode tilt-a-whirl 4X in a row, because we couldn't get it to spin right.

When we finally got it, it was spinning non-stop almost the entire ride. I almost lost my breakfast that day. lol. Thank god the ride stopped just in time. Once I sat still for a minute I felt better.

I did last year. I rode Power Tower and right when I get off the ride I puke right at the exit with everyone who was walking behind me watching. It was so humiliating! I now know to never ride Power Tower again.

huh?? power tower?? i could see getting pukey on maxair or some ride like chaos but not power tower. it must be because your stomach goes "whoosh" up into your throat maybe,lol,i dunno. that's a fun ride though.

oops! my cousin from chicago got ill right by wwl one year. i think she was dehydrated,though. we had just gotten off of mean streak--of course,that could be the reason too. but,i havent had the "technicolor yawn" as he put it...yet! i get dizzy after getting off of raptor anymore,though.

I don't get really sick. But sometimes I get like a jet-lag/lightheaded/feel like im floating feeling after riding certain rides. Then the day after i pay for it. Anyone else get that?

I got sick after riding WT. But my stomach was a little fluky, and I managed to discretely hurl right behind some bushes and stuff.

I don't get sick, because I don't push myself to that point, just for the sake of riding rides.

maXair nearly did me in when I rode it the opening year of it. Never have been back on it. The thing is I ride Delirium every time I go to KI and I am fine. I think it is because of the shorter ride cycle. Also it might have been after a day of work as I worked there and we wore cleaning several rides. I did not puke but didn't feel too good. The shame is for the first part of the ride I was enjoying it. I really was excited they got maXair and really wanted to like it.

I had a similar expereice riding the pirate ship at the Columbus Zoo last summer. I think it was because the ride lasted so long that boat just kept going and going. I rode a Pharoah's Fury at a local fair the very next day and I was ride. Strange

Now that I think about it, I have never felt sick. The only time I felt full was when I ate one of the giant soft pretzels, with a medium code red. Had to ride the Space Spiral and Giant Wheel, for the food to go down well. :)
