I got sick after riding Max air this year, it seemed to be running extra powerful. I have rode it and Delirium many times before with out any problem, but this time I almost lost my cookies on the ride.
I was fine until about half way through, then I started to not feel so good, from that point on until the restraints unlocked seemed like an eternity, good thing my seat was right by the exit, I made a mad dash over to the bathroom straight ahead, and had some nice projectile raisin bran and milk. It was our first ride after morning ert.
I also had a few two many adult beverages the night before at the hot tub, and a bunch of back to back rides that moring during the ert.
Its not the spinning that gets me, its those sudden stops that get me (Wicked twister, going 70mph to 0 in about 2 seconds, Skyhawk going from 125 feet in the air and then the braking, MaxAir the same deal, Demon Drop when your insides are going up on release then a whole new direction when you level out, etc)
I haven't ever thrown up at an amusement park, but I get pretty woozy with the right combination of rides. I can do roller coasters all day for the most part, but throw in those thrill rides and I might have a problem. Power Tower I can do all day as well.
I fainted while waiting in the Raptor line. Never thought it would happen to me, but bam! out of nowhere. Suddenly lost hearing, then eyesight..smacked the ground, turned blue, my sister thought I was dead....and then the CP police came with water and took me away in a CP ambulance.
The annoying part was that it was around opening year of Raptor, so the wait was 2 hours. I fainted with 5 minutes to go. Heat exhaustion...I recommended CP install fans that year, and they finally installed them just this year (15 years later)? Interesting...
Speaking of which, does the CP hospital cost anything? I always wondered that... The day I was in it, there were dozens of beds with people lying in all of them.
^ I am pretty positive that CP does not charge anything for there first aid services.
I have never gotten sick at CP. My father on the other hand is a different story. He was vomiting in TGI fridays. Mr. Kinzel was eating near our table. I hope my dad does not read this. He will shoot me. :)

I've never gotten sick from any ride at Cedar Point. However, it was so darn hot one day back in the 1980's that after I left the park I got sick and I didn't eat a thing and we rode in a Dodge Omni with 6 people in the car crammed. I projected myself onto my best friend, all that came up was water. It was near 100 degrees (which is why I never go to CP on a hot, humid day). I ended up at Pizza Hut and threw up as soon as I got inside.. I'll never forget that.
I have never gotten sick at CP, had some nasty food a couple of times, now I can't afford to eat there. My fear is being on ride like Maxair and the person next to me gets sick. I am sympathic vomiter....if you puke i am right there with ya.
Shoot the rapids, tame and dry. Thunder Canyon, wet and laughter. Snake River Falls, soaked and smiling. White Water Landing and the old shoot the rapids, Fun and missed.
The only time I came close was 3 yrs ago when my hubby and 2 of my CP buds got me on tilt a whirl and spun that thing like crazy. I came darn close to throwing up when I got off. They thought it was pretty funny-I didnt!
MaxAir gets me every time-never came close but certainly have felt like I could have!

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?
I've gotten sick once at CP and once because of Pepsi Blue from CP. The first of the two was after a Power Tower marathon. It was somewhere around its opening year and I rode it close to 35 times that day. At about the 30th time I got of the ride went to the trash can and lost my lunch. For some reason I decided to ride it a few more times. Maybe just so I could say the ride didn't get the best of me. Needless to say I'm not much of a PT fan today.
The other time, was at a friend's house after an afternoon at CP. Pepsi Blue was the new summer fad of the softdrink industry, and I couldn't resist. I bought a bottle on the way out of the park, and once we got to her house I made my way straight to the bathroom.
Don't call me a "scare actor", I'm a Screamster
Yep! I sure did get sick once at CP. I was feeling a little queasy to my stomach and got on the White Water Landing. I should have known better, but I rode it anyway. Well, when the boat went down the hill, it came from my stomach. The funny (and gross) thing that happened after I got out of the boat was when a lady in a pair of white shorts sit down where I was sitting at the time. I felt bad for the lady.

Sure did...but it was something I had eaten before I got to the park that never sat well. Puking was going to come whether I rode the coasters or not. I puked and got in line for Millennium Force...
