***I'll start with the disclaimer I KNOW no one can estimate crowds*** :)
I didnt get to make it in May and wonder have I waited to late to visit CP this year without having terrible crowds where I wont be able to enjoy the park? I was looking at possible Fathers Day weekend on that Sunday and staying over Monday as well. I heard that Father's Day is an unofficial Ga* day (which I have no problem with and to each his/her own), I'm just cautious about exposing this to my 3yr old. Would would estimated wait times because on more popular rides like MF, TTD, Magnum, etc. I would be staying on property to take advantage of the ERT as well.Any help would be greatly appreciated it.
Thanks,
At this point in the season, with most students now having finished school, crowds will be hit or miss, at best. There remains perhaps another week or so before families really begin revving up vacation plans, but after that, it'll be hard to find a day that isn't at least relatively crowded. Your best bet would be for a Sunday with a bad weather forecast.
I'm not sure why you chose to disguise the word 'Gay'. It's a perfectly legitimate and acceptable word. And trust me, it's highly unlikely you'll expose your three year old to any inappropriate public displays of affection or ad hoc interior decorating seminars. Remember, gays are pretty much the same as we straights, they merely prefer to putt from the rough...
Staying on property and using the ERT is a great way to maximize your visit during the busy season. Make the most use of it. I advise heading right from the resort gate to Maverick as soon as they open. Ride this 2 - 3 times, then hotfoot it down to MF, which should be opening by now and will already feature lengthening lines -- though not as long as they will be later. Try to cycle MF at least twice, then head on around to TTD. Hopefully you'll find that by 10:30 you've already picked up multiple rides on the most popular rides in the park, and you may now ride everything else at your leisure.
Hope this helps.

As Mike said, the crowds will be hit or miss this time of year. Generally Saturdays are always busiest. I've found Sundays aren't to bad usually.
As for the gay day thing, I've been to the park twice on father's day, and both times the only outrageous public displays I've seen were from straight teenagers playing tonsil hockey in line, just like you'd see on any other day. There's no parade of men in leather chaps down the main midway.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
