Haunted Cedar Point

I was there a few days ago and was told a story of it being haunted. I was curious and went up by room 169 at around 1 am. Its door was open and none of the others were. So i walked in and immediately it was freezing. The feeling of the room made me extremely uncomfortable. I looked around and no air conditioners were in there and both windows were shut and locked. I walked back out of the room and it was warm, like the rest of the hotel. I walked back in and the hairs on the back of my neck and my arms stood straight up. But if there are no suck things as ghosts, would someone like to explain this to me?

Yeah I can explain it. It was the aliens in the adjacent rooms using their cooling towers to perform experiments on the people they abducted. And how on earth did you get past the Werewolf on the way to that room?

As we head int the 2011 "Haunting Season", are there any haunting or ghoulish or otherwise unexplainable events last summer? Lets get an update.

I thought it was in this thread where the guy said he had a picture of the horse being haunted, but never posted it. Was it a different thread or am I just dreaming?

This thread makes me laugh. Kate do you really think that is the ONLY explanation why that one room was cold?

That's assuming it was really cold.

I would love to believe in ghosts, etc., but I have yet to see, hear, or otherwise experience anything on this planet that would even slightly suggest that as a reality.

im really interested in hearing haunted stories even though i dont belive in them.

With Halloweekends shortly upon us, It may be wise to bring up old cobweb posts about maybe scarry stuff.......so.......any reports of haunts, ghosts, apparations in the hotels, park? or as I have been told, seeing a Captain in a raincoat in the beacon room at Lighthouse Point attending to the lamp......later reports indicate it may have been been something else....??

Visited the 3rd floor Breakers rotunda room claimed to be haunted, & having heard of a strange presence in the room the past, did not notice anything.....what's in the back of that closet anyway??

I've heard of these. The 2nd one I'm even more familiar with because I experienced that while I worked there 9 years ago.

Before I had the opportunity to spend a night at Breakers, I read about the stories... the one about the dark horse.. and another about terrifying "Mary".. I even came across a post where a woman was attempting to take a picture of one of the vintage photographs lining the hallway.. where she captured, in the reflection of the glass, an unexplained image of a little boy. Although, I have had a small experience while I when on hiatus, it was an experience none the less.

Therefore, during my stay I had a hard time falling asleep. As I generally do in foreign beds. I was awake around 3am, when i began hearing footsteps in the hallway outside. The was all almost pressing, overpowerment vengeance )

The footsteps was probably a drunk returning to his room from TGIfridays.

Exactly. Footsteps, in hotel, in hallway, at odd hours. My first guess is ghost as well.
