The weird guy from California
Hi Stephany! I've had roommates who've worked for Merchandise each of my past two summers at the Point, and it sounds like a really good job. You'll meet a lot of fun people and get to help out little kids, too. I think that at the hat stores you can wear the hats during work to advertise them, so that's one way you'll be able to have fun at work -- some of those things are really goofy! I'm not sure whether you'll get to help out at other stores or not; I'm assuming yes, especially if you're a hard worker and learn things fast -- I think most departments have the need to scoot people around once in a while for staffing reasons.
Feel free to check out all the past threads while you're here at GTTP. I'm sure you're wondering about housing, activities, pay, etc. By doing a search using the "Search" link near the very top of this page, you'll find that a lot of these topics have been discussed in the past and a variety of information is already available for you. Of course, if you have any new questions, don't hesitate to ask them. Welcome to the Cedar Point family!

I'm sure you'll have a great time and meet lots of really nice people. Make sure to come to Ride Nights and other events; that's a good way to meet other employees and have a lot of fun. Cedar Point is a place where I've made some of the best memories of my college years; I'm sure you'll find the same experience.
