Happy Halfway Day!

So there are 14 weeks down in the offseason and 13 weeks, 6 days to go. We are officially over 50% done. How has the offseason gone for everyone else? I haven't really missed CP too much yet, the offseason has really gone by quick thus far. I'm sure by mid-March or so I'll start to get that itch back for baseball/cookout/coaster season.

It wouldn't really matter to me if the park was open or not. Couldn't go after I had to have re-constructive knee surgery on my right knee for the third time. This time after a skiing mishap. Found it funny, that I had been skiing and snowboarding for nearly thirty years and never was hurt before.

I need to ride a coaster pronto. Last one was Magnum in July. I tried riding Formula Rossa, but it broke down so now I just need to find a coaster to ride - any coaster will do.

Ben, if you can travel to Dubai, I think you can afford to travel to California. :D

^Agreed. I think I'm just more excited for this winter weather to end, personally. Once that happens, then I'll start getting the coaster fever.

Too bad you couldn't join us on the winter tour. That would surely kick the fever into overdrive. Though it sure will for us. Heck, I didn't even get to ride Dragster (or anything) on my last trip to the point! Now I'll get to see it and still have to wait. :)

I'll be enjoying Orlando and Tampa's coasters at the end of this week. Couldn't come soon enough. The fact that it won't be 15 degrees down there is also a big plus. :)

I hate you. ;)

I can't find a way to justify California as a company trip though!

You can always come to Michigan and ride this mighty coaster. It is open all year long.:)

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Ha! I'd rather enjoy warm FL or CA :) Plus Six Flags over Texas opens on March 5

^^lol, I just might have to go to Great Lakes to ride that. I can justify riding it by accompanying my 6 yr old nephew. :)

After the kiddie coaster at Holiday World this past season... never again, haha. Apparently 6'6" guys don't fit well into those things any more.

^ try fitting into Jr Gemini when you are 5'8" !

I need Cedar Point now. I miss the coasters. Especially Gemini... :( This "snowstorm-every-other-day" thing is getting old...

I'm with you Mike. I can't even fit on CCMR anymore.

I'm extra excited for this coaster season to get going because trips to Holiday World and Six Flags Great Adventure have already been planned. I love going to new places. I hope to make it to Busch Gardens Tampa too. Cheetah looks sweet. :)

I'm just hoping that it will be open. I have never been to a Six Flags park, but all of the talk about rides being down all the time makes me nervous.
