Shorty40...I am sure you wont have a problem finding your fare share of good looking guys.
MellyMel...If you find a good friend early you can move into a 2 person room at golds if you like its not as good as commons but you wont have to live with so many people.
I know what its like to miss your significant other and family....I will say also just be careful because Cedar Point can cause issues with relationships if you are not careful. Unfortantly CP caused an engagement of mine to fall apart, but then again my last year it was the cause of my now marriage.

Most people don't work at CP for the money (you could probably make more starting as a cashier at McDonald's). They work at CP for the experience, to meet new friends, or even to ride in the park for free during off days.
I wasn't expecting to get paid so little, either, but it is only a temporary summer job, with a few good benefits (inexpensive housing and free admission during employment).

I don't see how being paid $7.40 is little...especially when we will be working 40-60 hours a week. Most people I have talked to make over $5,000 for the summer. That's a decent first car, a payment towards your student loans, or a nice chunk of cash for spending during the year.

True. The hours do make it add up pretty quickly.

On a side note Shorty, the Employee Lounge is for questions about employment, not to start topics about how bored you are and how you hate computers. That is what FB statuses are for and Twitter ;)
