I plan to be back in the hotel around 8 to watch the grandkids while mommy and daddy do the serious haunts. My main concern was with people jumping out at me unexpectedly and throwing me off balance. I wouldn't suggest doing that to anyone with a walking aid. If I am in a haunted house I am fair game and expect it. Walking around outside - no.
The policy is that if you walk into a haunted area (indoor or outdoor) you run the risk of being scared. The indoor houses and the outdoor scare zones are clearly marked so you are willingly entering them and since the Screamsters know this, they assume that if you are in there you want to be scared. I suggest not going in either of them if you are unsure.
