Halloween and Saturday Nov 1st

I apologize if this report is too long!!

My wife and I made our first and only trip of this season from Chicago. We left at around 830am and arrived to CP at 330pm. We walked into Hotel Breakers and we loved the halloween decor!! Check in was a breeze. Since there are only two us we always stay in the older section of HB. The room is small but very clean, and 250 bucks for two nights and tickets to the park you cant go wrong!!

We headed to the park at 445 for ERT. We headed straight to Maverick, Millennium Force (several rides) since there was no wait-- then Raptor. The older I get (31) the harder it is for me to go on rides that go upside down. I can only handle Raptor once a day. By now it is 6pm and ERT is over so we head swiftly (Not Running) to MF for two more rides. I then decide to head over to my favorite ride in the world TTD and while waiting in line it went down. My wife still will not go on it so I got out of line and we just walked around the park for a little. I saw that TTD was back up so I waited in line. Only a 20 min wait!! What a great ride, it never gets old for me. We then go on Magnum. Still awesome as ever.

Now it is after 8pm so we go back to the room to get some warmer clothes on and we head to Club Blood. Great haunted house, but something weird happened to my wife inside. As we were walking through there was one spot were there was a girl and guy vampire next to each other. Now the girl Vampire lets me through and the guy is in front of me not letting me through yet. The girl vampire gets real close to my wifes face for about 30 seconds. After they let us through my wife whispers to me that that was very weird and we have been to many many haunted houses but I didnt think anything of it. But as we were leaving the haunted house the Girl came out and walked over to us and said something to my wife smiled and got real close to her face again then went back inside the house. It was probably nothing even though I thought it was cool my wife was a little freaked out.

After that cool experience we headed to the walk through zones and I loved Cornstalkers!!! Terror Island and Carnevil were cool also. Fear Faire was okay but there were many screamsters that were talking to each other and not scaring people.

On Saturday we had ERT at 11am again and were able to ride Maverick and MF several times again. The rest of the day was great we were able to go on many rides and the wait times were not bad at all. I also went on Skyscraper by myself--my wife would never do that. It was a little scary I have to admit but It was fun. At night we went to the scare zones and just sat by the exit of carnevil for an hour just watching the screamsters scare people---They were great.

What a great time we had!! I went to California a couple weeks ago and went to Magic Mountain. In my opinion Cedar Point's rides are way better, Superman and Goliath are way over rated to me.

Over the weekend, I saw several Screamsters doing the "get in your face for extended periods of time" scare... I think if they feel they are still making you nervous they will just stay there. They did it to my fiancee several times in Club Blood yesterday. I don't think it was anything out of the ordinary... just another scare tactic.

It annoys me when they do that in haunted houses. Because what scares me is when they jump out. But once I see them I know it is just someone dressed up in halloween makeup. So it is kind of annoying when they just get in my face. Most of the time I will ask them politely to move. lol.

I hear you but it was just weird how she came out of the haunted house to do it again, and my wife was not acting scared or anything.

Bingo. The key is doing it to the right people. If they aren't getting freaked out about it, it just ends up being annoying. But do it to the right person and it's incredibly effective.

That makes sense. I had a few Screamsters get in my face, and I kind of just smiled... they didn't stay there long. My fiancee on the other hand would get very tense when they would get close.... and they would just stay there.

Maybe it's just because she's much more attractive than I am.... ;)

I think that my mind wants me to say it was a lesbian experience!!! I know I am a jerk!!!
