We got to the park around 6:30 and started out with the Wicked Twister which was a walk on. Raptor was next where the wait said a half an hour and we waited about ten to fifteen minutes. Made our way to Millennium where the wait was about fifteen minutes. By the time we got off we had been there an hour and had already ridden three coasters! I don't think this has ever happened for us before.
After Millennium we walked back to Maverick where the posted wait was 45 minutes. About 15 minutes into the wait they announced that the ride was closed/broken down. We decided to stick it out in line for a little bit. Twenty minutes later it was back up and running. Another fifteen minutes in line and we got onto the ride. The first half of the ride was great, then we entered the tunnel. We had ridden the ride before and knew we were suppose to launch out of the tunnel, so we sat there with anticipation we waited and waited and waited for the launch. The ride was broken down again and we were stuck in the tunnel. A few minutes into our wait a ride host came down to keep us company and push some buttons once we were ready to go again. I'm not sure how long we were in the tunnel but it felt like forever. I would guess about ten minutes. On the up side the second half of the ride was great. It felt very different after sitting idle in the tunnel for so long.
Once we were off Maverick we made our way back to the locker for some warmer clothes and started doing some of the haunted stuff.
We walked through Freight Zone, Fear Faire and club blood. All were great! By now it was ten o'clock and we were stunned to discover we only had two hours left!!! Maverick had eaten up a lot of time.
We wanted to get all the haunted attractions in, but also wanted a couple more rides. We focused on the haunted stuff first and went to Terror Island then Carnevil. Terror Island was my Husbands favorite. Carnevil was fun as usual, I like the new location.
We then made our way to Corn Stalkers checking Mavericks wait time along the way...one hour...decided to come back later. Went through Corn Stalkers, it was great and ended up surpassing Terror Island for my Husbands favorite. Cornstalkers was my favorite with Terror Island a close second.
By now the night was almost over, we checked out millennium to find a posted time of half hour, but the line was less than fifteen minutes. Rode Millennium, saw single rider Bob for the first time. Then went back to Maverick to find a posted wait of 45 minutes with an actual wait of twenty. When we were getting close to boarding the ride host started talking over the load speaker and I thought here we go again. But no...he was talking to someone in line who he had seen line jump. He described the two boys over the load speaker and told them he had seen them line jump and don't even bother stepping foot on the platform because they were not riding. We boarded a train and waited. The ride host started talking over the load speaker again apparently the boys did not hear or believe the announcement, because they entered the platform. The ride host stopped and did not send us until the boys were leaving the platform to everyone booing at them. The best part, it was now midnight and they couldn't get onto anything else...they were done for the night just because they couldn't wait their turn!
After Maverick we were done for the night and headed out until next year.
