Halloweekends Sept 24, 2005

The rides and the park itself was how I remember things from the last time I was there. What I found to be rather disappointing was of course the TTD being down yet again. The later in the day the Raptor, MF, WT, and Maxair all went down about the same time all for unknown causes, except to say "mechanical".

As for the new "Haunted Attraction", CarnEvil was similar to Fright Zone. The problem being it was as yet rather disorganized and not enough scare actors to effectively use the space they had. The Lair of The Vampire was pretty good, as this was my first trip to CP since they took out the Toxic Tunnel of Terror.

We did not have the time to wait on Undertaker U, which was the only other we wanted to go to.

Overall the trip was very enjoyable.

Was it windy when the other coasters were shut down? I've read in other TR's that wind is a likely cause for those rides to be shut down due to "mechanical" reasons.

If it's windy, they'd be closed down due to Weather Conditions.
