HalloWeekends Oct 26-28 Hotel Breakers or Lighthouse Point Cottages?

Alright there's 5 of us going. Are we better off staying at cottages or getting the lake-view suite at Hotel Breakers? Either way we're going for a halloweekend package so our tickets are included.

My concerns:
~4 of us smoke...I know I cant smoke on the balcony at breakers...can I smoke on the cottage patio or do we have to walk to a smoking area?

~How big are the bunk beds in the cottage? Can a couple who is a little heavier set fit on the bottom bunk?

~I herd there's a park entrance right next to breakers for those guests. Is there a special guest entrance for the cottages too? Or do we gotta walk all the way to the front? I also herd something about a shuttle there does the shuttle cost money to utilize?

~Do we need to bring our own bedding for the bed/bunk-beds/sleeper sofa?

~It says there's no housekeeping which is fine by me but do they provide the fluffy white towels a lot of hotels have? Or do we need to bring our own.

~If we stay at the cottages what other necessities are we going to need that a typical hotel has that the cottages don't have?

~Also is parking included in either of the stays or do I pay the $15 to get in the gate when we arrive at CP?

Sorry if any of this is repetitive I'm really trying to make this first time staying over night at CP memorable and enjoyable and not get hit with any hidden fees or problems. Also any other info you may have to give is greatly appreciated.

~Jesse~ :)

Also forgot to ask if there's 5 of us going are we better off getting the fast pass too? I herd they're only $30 per person. Also when we were there last weekend I saw the fright lane signs are they covered under the fastpass or are they a seperate fee??

I would recommend a cabin in LHP. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and two foutons in the living area. You can smoke on your patio (and BBQ too, which is nice). I wouldn't recommend the bottom bunk for any two adults. When staying at a cabin or cottage you can use the same entrance as Breakers. Bedding and towels are included in the cabins and cottages. The cabins and cottages are both equipped with your basic hotel necessities, such as soap, shampoo, microwave, small fridge, hair dryer, coffee maker, etc. There aren't any kitchen or BBQ utensils. You will pay for parking at the booth, but you will be reimbursed upon check-in.

I've stayed in a cabin several times and a cottage only once. I like the lakeview of the cottage, but the layout of the cabin is much more practical for 5 adults (how I've always travelled when staying at LHP). It is pricy, but when staying on-Point for a whole weekend I highly recommend LHP because the setting is great plus the freedom to cook a meal on the BBQ can really come in handy.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Thanks Vince this would be awesome if they had cabins available that weekend...but alas only the cottages.

Looks like now there is only 3 of us going.
