I'm with adam. Wow. The haunts look great. I went through Kings Island's Club Blood last year, and I thought that was pretty good. But this one looks great! And I bet Cornstalkers is going to be really scary. Those paths are tiny! Here's to hoping I make it...

I'm planning on going Sunday the 12th in October. It's the only sunday the walkthroughs are open. I cant make it to the park on a fridays and god knows I'm not going on a saturday. So if anyone's up to meeting on that sunday and going through everything, let me know.

Do they have the fog on in the Fright Zone all day, or just when it's dark out?

Just when it's dark.

Ok, thank you.

I suppose it would be a waste to have it on during the day, when it's bright out and it's harder to scare people.

During the day Fright Zone is in it's normal Frontier Trail mode with halloween decorations. No monsters, no fog.

When I look at the schedule for the 12 October, it says that they are open 10 AM to 10 PM. Typically, the outdoor Halloween attractions open at 8PM. It seems to me that having them open for two hours is a bit short.

Normally, on that particular Sunday, the outdoor attractions open at 6 or 7pm, I believe, instead of 8pm.

The Cedar Point Haloweekends website is a little unclear what time the attractions open that Sunday. It says that the outdoor attractions are "open Fridays and Saturdays at 8PM (Also open Sunday October 12th)" I didn't see what time the attraction opened that Sunday. Considering the effort needed to prepare the screamsters, I would think that they would want the attractions open for more than 2 hours.

I'd love to go that Sunday but it's our Thanksgiving and I'll either be working or having family stuff or both. We'll see though, I might make it down. I'd like to get there to see the haunts before Closing Weekend.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Just got back from Halloweekends first night and I must say it was amazing. Cornstalkers is unbelieveable, they blend right in the sides. Terror island was also pretty sweet. What also impressed me were the little additions throughout the park. Best Halloweekends 12 years running!

I agree that the attention to detail makes a difference.

I have to agree with a lot of other people in saying that everything looks great.

I've only been to Halloweekends once and it was on a Sunday so not much was going on other than the haunted houses. This looks a lot better than when I went.

Ok I have a quick question. People have said Club Blood at KI is more adult and "sexy". I'm 15 so I don't really care (makes me wanna go more ;)) but my youth pastor is taking us this year and it would just be awkward to be in there with him. Is it as bad at CP as KI? Is it something to care about or just do it anyways?

Let's Get Weird.

Based on last weekend, the closest thing to sexy was the two girl go-go dancers. They had dresses on that weren't very short at all, especially for go-go dancers. Most female guests at CP wear less, so it's OK for the pastor and disapointing for you. It was safe for kids that don't get scared in haunted houses.

I saw the KI Club Blood on Youtube and was surprised at some of what I heard, more so than what I saw. One girl on the video mentioned a crack pipe or something.
