Half Day trip Thurs 5/31

I decided to head up to Cedar Point this afternoon after my son got home from school. We arrived at CP at 530pm and a a pleasant surprise! The park was pretty quiet with short lines! Ride count----
Maverick-2 (one at night... awesome!) The first ride we waited about 25 min and the 2nd about 10min! MF-3. All 3 rides were between 10-25 min! I had to get my night ride on MF since nothing is better! Mantis-1-no wait at all!!!! Walk on baby! Power tower-1. TTD-2 both with 15 min waits! We got a lot of rides in considering we were only in the park for 4.5 hours! I am hoping and praying the park is the same way next week when I take my son and a few of his friends for his bday. That would be awesome!!! I love early season crowds!

His birthday is on tues the 5th but we are actually going on thurs the 7th! Happy Bday!

Yesterday was a good day to be in the park, I think it was the least busiest day this season, at least from what I have seen. Dragsters line was in the station, so pretty much a 5 or 10 minute wait for that after 8pm.

I was at the park on Thursday, only to arrive and have several ride operators tell me "ride is closed due to mechanical reasons". They said there was some significant power failure/issue, and it effected Maverick, WT, Maxair, and TTD... I was pretty upset, but things started rolling eventually... I managed to get my first ride on Maverick after a 35 min wait - everything else was basically a walk-on. It was pretty awesome! (except for bruises on my shoulders - from Maverick?)
